I Never Thought I'd Say This...
Aaron was doing some studying at the kitchen table last night while I worked in the kitchen washing dishes and getting our lunches packed for the next day. He stopped for a few minutes to have a conversation with me, and that's when I noticed it. Aaron leaned back on the back two legs of the kitchen chair and just casually continued the conversation. Little did he know that I was not casually strolling over to the table to dedicate more of my attention to him, but that I was walking over to where he was to say these words..."You know that chair has four legs, right?" It had happened. I had officially turned into my parents. When I was just a little girl doing the same exact thing and hearing those words come out of my parent's mouths, I would have never thought that one day I would say it to. I just couldn't help myself. I just couldn't stand the fact that I could possibly have to buy a new chair if that one broke. With that said, we had a small conversation going back and forth about the chair and whether or not it was good to have it leaning back on two legs. In the end, Aaron turned to me and pointed his finger and said "submit to me, woman!" I couldn't help but burst out laughing. I'm so thankful that it's a regular occurrence in our household to end up laughing hysterically about something so petty.
